Temperatures to drop, rain expected

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will drop, yet remain from 1 to 3 degrees above average as the country is affected by a low air pressure accompanied by a cold and wet air mass in all layers of the atmosphere.

The Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the weather will be partly cloudy in general, local rain showers are expected in various areas in the country, rain will be heavy and accompanied with thunder in the coastal region. The winds will be southwestern between low to moderate in speed, while the sea waves will be low to moderate in amplitude.

The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities, will be as follows: Damascus 14/8, Homs 16/7, Hasaka 15/5, Lattakia 15/12 and Deir Ezzor 16/7.
