Patriarch Yazigi wishes return of peace and recovery to Syria

Beirut, SANA- Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch and All the East John X Yazigi hoped that security, recovery and stability would return to Syria, Lebanon and occupied Palestine.

In a Christmas message addressed on Monday to the Shepherds of the Holy Church of Antioch, the Patriarch said “We ask God for peace and recovery for Syria, as well the desired stability for Lebanon, and for every country and part of this East and this world,” adding, “We ask for peace for the East and occupied Palestine.”

Yazigi also hoped for releasing the kidnapped, including the Archbishops of Aleppo, Boulos Yazigi and Yohanna Ibrahim, noting that the issue of the two bishops sums up a little of human’s suffering.

He also hoped that the Coronavirus pandemic and all other diseases would fade away.
