Dubai, SANA- A Brazilian delegation from the Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo (FIESP) visited on Tuesday the Syrian pavilion at the Expo 2020 Dubai, in continuation of the international interest in the Syrian participation in the exhibition.
During a tour of the pavilion’s sections, the Brazilian delegation was briefed on the various artistic and cultural exhibits, from the first alphabet to the room designated for listening to the oldest musical compositions in history.
The delegation, chaired by Head of the Women’s Council in the Federation of Industries in the state of São Paulo, Marta Suplicy, showed special interest in the Syrian companies participating in the commercial section and explored the possibility of cooperation with some of them.
During the tour, Suplicy hailed the exhibits of the Syrian pavilion that reflect the history and civilization of Syria and focus on the human being and the future, noting that the various sections in the pavilion have attracted the attention of visitors from different countries of the world.
The delegation expressed admiration for the art exhibition hosted by the pavilion under the title “I am the Syrian”, in which each painting represents a face from Syria, and its idea is based on the fact that every Syrian is part of the collective awareness that all Syrians are similar and interconnected and together they will build a future for Syria and the world.
The delegation was accompanied during the tour by the Commissioner General of the Syrian Pavilion, Syrian Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates Dr. Ghassan Abbas, and Eng. Khaled Al-Shamaa, director of the Syrian pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai.
