Damascus, SANA- 100 new coronavirus infections, 95 recoveries and 5 fatalities were reported in Syria, Health Ministry said on Friday.
According to a statement by the ministry, the total number of coronavirus cases recorded in the country has reached up to 47,764, while the recoveries have amounted to 28,794, and the deaths have reached up to 2,729.
The first coronavirus case was detected in Syria on March 22nd last year in a person who came from abroad, while the first fatality was reported on the 29th of the same month
