Damascus, SANA- Syria registered 117 new coronavirus cases, 93 recoveries and 5 fatalities on Tuesday, Health Ministry said.
The total number of infections detected in the country has reached up to 47,448 of which 28,517 have recovered, while 2,714 have passed away, according to a statement by the Ministry.
On March 22nd, the first coronavirus was recorded in Syria in a person who came from abroad, while the first death was reported a week later.
