Cold weather in general, rain expected

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will be below average in most regions as the country is affected by  a superficial low air pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

The skies will be partly cloudy to rainy over various areas and often accompanied by thunder storms, according to Sunday bulletin of Meteorology Department.

The wind will be easterly to northeasterly with low to a moderate speed, while the sea waves will be low to medium in height.

The bulletin added that the expected temperatures in various Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 17/9, Daraa 18/10, Homs 16/9, Hasaka 19/8, Tartous 20/14, Aleppo 14/9, Deir Ezzor 17/8.
