Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will notably drop in the coastal and al-Jazeera regions to become around average, while they will rise in the other regions, yet they will remain around average as the country is affected by a low superficial pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The skies will be partly cloudy to cloudy sometimes with a chance for showers, particularly over the coastal, central and al-Jazeera region, according to the bulleting of the Meteorology Department.
The wind will be easterly to southeasterly in the eastern and al-Jazeera regions while it will be southwesterly in the other regions with a low to moderate speed, and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
Different amounts of rainfalls have been registered in several Syrian provinces over the past 24 hours as follows: Homs 2.6 mm, Tartous 3.5 mm, Raqqa 2 mm, and Daraa 5 mm.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 12/23, Daraa 13/22, Homs 15/21, Lattakia 20/25, Aleppo 15/18 and Deir Ezzor 18/26.
