Damascus, SANA-The Syrian al-Ikhbariya Channel has launched a new program lineup and visual identity, starting Wednesday 3:00 pm to air a new set of programs as to complete a march forward that terrorists have been striving to bring to a standstill.
The Channel’s director Imad Sarah said that the new round of programs includes 18 TV shows, including talk shows and panoramic shows that provide perspective on the ongoing events.
The Channel, added Sarah, will broadcast a series of documentary films that tackle local, Arab and international affairs, with a news roundup on the hour.
He said the relaunch comes “in tribute to the blood of martyrs” who lost their lives in their quest to convey the truth about the situation in their country.
“Many TV channels worldwide are reporting on Syria as suits their own views,” the channel’s director noted. “And herein comes the role of al-Ikhbariya which has to report on the situation as it is, nothing more, nothing less.”
