Daraa, SANA – Projects of industries and crafts in Daraa Province have increased during the past year hitting 23 projects compared to 18 in 2013 with a capital of SYP 2,350 billion, according to Head of Industry Directorate, Abdul-Wahid al-Awad.
Al-Awad clarified in a statement to SANA that the authorized projects included 15 food plants, six engineering facilities and two chemical facilities, adding that the Directorate supplied the industrialists with 300,000 liters of diesel last year required for operating the factories.
