Zakharova: Britain and France use issue of refugees as weapon in media war against Syria

Moscow, SANA-  Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova affirmed on Friday that Britain and France are using the issue of refugees to carry out a misleading media campaign against the Syrian government and to circulate their geopolitical interests, criticizing their stance which based on “hypocrisy” on this issue.

According to RIA Novosti news agency, Zakharova pointed out to the displaced persons who were victims due to the criminal acts of the West in the Middle East and North Africa.

She indicated that the countries which currently refused to accept the migrants has cruelly used photos of some displaced victims to promote its geopolitical interests, making the tragedy a weapon in the media war against Syria.
