Legal Status of tens of wanted persons and militants settled at Mizyreb in Darra countryside

Daraa, SANA- Process of settling status of dozens of militants and handing over weapons to the Syrian Arab Army started on Wednesday began in the center of al-Mzairib town council in Daraa western countryside, within the settlement agreement proposed by the state in some areas of the province, as part of its keenness on consolidating security and stability in Daraa province and giving priority to peaceful solutions to protect the civilians and infrastructure, and return of normal life.

SANA reporter from al-Mzairib town said that since the early hours of the morning, a number of gunmen, the wanted and military deserters began to arrive at the settlement center in al-Mzairib municipality building to have their files settled and hand over their weapons to the army.

The locals in al-Mzairib town expressed relief for the redeployment of units Syrian Arab Army in the town and for consolidating security and stability in it.

They expressed, in a statement to SANA, the hope to restore stability to their town, the rest of the towns and villages and to the whole province.

For his part, mayor of the displaced people’s gathering in al-Mzairib, Tohma al-Fundi, pointed out the importance of the settlement step for return the military deserters to their military units”, expressing the hope that Daraa province would restore security and stability.

On Tuesday, operations of settling status of a number of gunmen and handing over weapons were completed in al- Yadoudeh town , northwest of Daraa city.

In parallel, units of the Syrian Arab Army continued to redeploy in the farms surrounding the villages and towns of al-Yadoudeh, Tafas and al-Mzairib in the northwestern countryside, in implementation of the settlement agreement proposed by the state.
