Damascus, SANA- Health Ministry announced on Sunday evening that 120 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Syria, and 25 patients infected with the virus recovered, while 6 passed away.
The Ministry, in a statement, said that the total number of infections registered in Syria till now has climbed to 28,543 of which 22,575 patients have recovered, while 2,039 have passed away.
The first coronavirus case in Syria was reported on March 22nd last year in a person who came from abroad, while the first fatality was one week later.
