Moscow, SANA- In the framework of their current visit to Russia, Syrian students, who are excelled at the Russian language held a concert by the Russian language in Moscow with the presence of Syrian Ambassador to Russia, Riad Haddad, and a crowd of the Russian people.
The concert, which was held on Sunday at the enlightenment cultural center, named as “Patriot Park” of the Russian Defense Ministry, included a number of Syrian national sons. The Students also showed their capabilities in the Russian Language through performing some poems and novelist paragraphs.
“This step comes within the framework of many steps taken by Syria and Russia to achieve the common targets, set by the leaders of the two countries, President Bashar al-Assad and President Vladimir Putin, to deepen the social and cultural relations that bring together the peoples of our two friendly countries, “Haddad said in a speech at the event.
Ambassador Haddad said that the Syrian-Russian relations are brotherly, genuine which are based on respect, stressing that the fruits of mutual cooperation were embodied in Syria’s victory over terrorist organizations with the determination of the Syrian Arab Army and the support of the Russian armed forces.
For his part, Head of the National Center for the Administration of Defense in the Russian Federation, General Mikhail Mezentsev , affirmed that Syrian students, with their vitality and aspiration to the future, embody the face of Syria at the present time, noting that the Russian side extorted all its efforts to make this visit a success and to brief the young Syrian guests who speak the Russian language on Russia’s civilization ,its history and culture.
