Syria participates in International Informatics Olympiad (IOI) 2021 in Singapore

Damascus, SANA- With participation of students from Syrian Science Olympiad, First round of the International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI)2021 in Singapore which is organized virtually from 22nd to 25th of June with participation of 88 countries.

Distinctive and Creativity Authority said in a statement to SANA that the Syrian students participating in the competition are Muhammad Nour al-Masry and Bishr Islambouli from Aleppo, Ali Mansour from Lattakia, and Antoine Dabbous from Homs.

The contest includes two rounds of five continuous hours each to deal with problem-solving of algorithmic nature and computer programming.

This is the 13th Syrian participation in this largest scientific contest in the world in informatics field.
