Quneitra, SANA- In support of the Syrian Arab Army’s wounded personnel and thalassemia patients, Health Ministry, in cooperation with the Blood Bank of Damascus and Martyr Mamdouh Abaza Hospital in Quneitra, organized a blood drive.
The participants affirmed that the blood drive came as an expression of the Syrian people’s standing by their army, stressing that drive is a national and humanitarian duty as it supports the hospital to sustain its work and provide medical and health services to patients.
Director of the Hospital, Dr. Hassan Arsan told SANA reporter that the drive will contribute to providing blood samples to the hospital thus relieving the patients of the troubles of traveling.
