Russia: US military presence in Syria is illegal

Moscow, SANA- Russia said on Thursday that the US military presence on the Syrian territories is illegal.

“The Americans always  stick to unrealistic matters and radically change their method after changing their administrations,”

Spokeswoman of the Russian foreign Ministry said in a press statement to RT, considering that what happened to the Iranian nuclear agreement was the most prominent example of Washington’s irresponsible approach.

She  stressed that Moscow follows a clear approach towards the international issues and respects the international law and UN Security Council resolutions.

Zakharova’s remarks came on the sidelines of St. Petersburg Economic Forum 2021 being held from June 2^nd to the 5^th of June.
