Health Ministry: 65 new coronavirus cases detected, 9 others recover, 5 passed away

Damascus, SANA- Health Ministry announced on Tuesday that 65 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Syria, adding that 9 patients have recovered while 5 others passed away.

The Ministry said in a statement that the total number of coronavirus cases recorded in Syria has reached up to 24,252 till now, of which 21,569 have recovered and 1745 have passed away.

The first coronavirus case was recorded in Syria on March 22nd, 2020 in a person who came from abroad, while the first death was recorded on the 29th of the same month.
