Temperatures around average, thundershowers expected

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will slightly rise to become around average or slightly higher as the country is affected by a low air pressure in all layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology Department expected in its Monday bulletin that the skies will be partly cloudy in general with a weak chance for thunder showers in separate areas, while at night the weather will be relatively cold, particularly over the mountains.

The wind will be westerly with a moderate speed and active gusts sometimes, while it will become southwesterly with a low to moderate speed in the afternoon in the northeastern regions, while the sea waves will be low in height.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 29/16, Daraa 28/15, Hama 31/17, Lattakia 27/20, Aleppo 32/18 and Deir Ezzor 32/20.
