Damascus, Damascus Countryside, SANA-Locals of Damascus province and its countryside took to the streets in support of the presidential elections in Syria and to confirm that the Syrians will announce the day of the presidential elections as a new political victory to their country.
In Damascus, Locals of al-Qadam, al-Assali, al-Dahadil, Naher Issa, al-Midan and Baider Nader staged a mass rally in support for the presidential elections.
The participants told SANA reporter that holding the presidential elections in this stage is an evidence that the war and siege didn’t undermine Syria’s sovereignty and the independence of its decision.
In Bab Touma, the locals of Bab Touma, al-Amara, al-Shaghpour, Bab al-Salam and al-Ameen neighborhoods gathered in support of the presidential elections.
They stressed that the elections reflect the values of belonging to the homeland and the Syrian Arab Army.
In the Old al-Zahera neighborhood, the locals held a national activity in support for the presidential elections.
In Ruken Eddin neighborhood, the locals stressed the independence of the Syrian decision.
In al-Majed district, the locals stressed that the Syria’s heading to the ballot boxes confirms the Syrian people’s rejection of any foreign interference in their internal affairs.
In Mezza, the National Union of Syrian Students held a concert in support for the presidential elections.
In Quneitra, Head of Damascus Syndicate of Lawyers said that the presidential elections reflect political pluralism in Syria.
In Jaramana, a group of Syrian tribes in Deir Ezzor, Raqqa, Hasaka and Idleb provinces held a gathering in which they stressed that the gathering is a prove on the unity of the Syrian people and their respect of the constitution and desire in free elections that express the aspirations of all spectrum of the Syrian society.
The locals of al-Ghazlamiyeh in Damascus countryside held an activity in support of the presidential elections.
They stressed that the elections are a Syrian internal affair, asserting that they will not allow anyone to confiscate and hinder this right.
The towns and villages of al-Qalamoun area held a national and popular event in support of the presidential elections in Syria.
The participants stressed that the participation in the presidential election is a national event which reflects the image of the resilient people that are committed to their decision.
In Saqba city in Damascus Countryside, the locals gathered in support of the presidential elections.
The participants stressed that the participation in the elections is a duty and a massage of loyalty to the blood of the martyrs.
In al-Braij and Ashrafiyet Sahnaya in Damascus countryside, the locals organized a massive mass rally in support of the presidential elections.
The participants asserted that the Syrians’ participation in the presidential elections confirms that Syria is a country of democracy, freedom and peace.
In Wadi Barada area in Damascus countryside, the locals of Ayn al-Fijeh, Basimeh, Ayn al-Khadra, Ashrafeit al-Wadi and Jdaidet al-Shibani held two popular activities in support of the presidential elections.
They stressed that the Syrian people will prove through the elections that Syria is sovereign state that has an independent decision.
In Jdaidet Artouz town in Damascus Countryside, the locals held national activity in support of the presidential elections.
They stressed that the participation in the presidential elections enhances Syria’s steadfastness in the face of its enemies.
In Qudsaiya town in Damascus Countryside, the locals organized a popular activity in support of the presidential elections, asserting that the participation in the elections is a national duty according to the constitution.
In Harasta city, the locals stressed that the participation in the elections means rebuilding and victory over all those who attempted to undermine Syria’s will and determination.
In the same context, the Palestinian factions held an event to express their loyalty and support to Syria which offered sacrifices in defending the Palestinian people.
