Some 139,000 tons of apple , citrus and grapes exported in 2014

Damascus, SANA -Director of Damascus Chamber of Agriculture Omar al-Shalet affirmed Saturday that the Chamber continues the export of apple and citrus untill the end of the year.

Al-Shalet told SANA that the exported amount of apple by the Chamber reached at 10,628 tons in 2014 and 127.282 tons of citrus, among them 58,448 tons of oranges, 53.561 tons of grapefruit, 6729
of mandarin, 7.837 tons of lemon and 707 tons of pomelo.

He pointed out that 1,227 tons of grapes were also exported this year.
