Sweida, SANA- Total number of coronavirus patients has increased to 34 infections in the isolation departments in Sweida hospitals, according to Director of Health department in the province Dr. Nizar Muhnna.
In a statement to SANA reporter on Wednesday, Dr. Muhnna, said that the number of cases in the isolation departments has been doubled over the past few days.
He noted that the province is undergoing an escalating curve of the pandemic, which necessitates that people follow the precautionary measures.
Muhnna asserted that the isolation departments in Martyr Zaid al-Shariti Hospital in Sweida city and the two general bodies of Shahaba and Salkhad hospitals are ready to receive the new cases.
It is noteworthy that since the outbreak of the virus till today, the total number of infections in Sweida province has reached up to 885 cases, while the deaths have amounted to 91.
