International Council for Supporting Fair Trial and Human Rights calls for lifting coercive measures on Syria

Geneva, SANA-The International Council for Supporting Fair Trial and Human Rights renewed on Thursday its demand for lifting the unilateral coercive economic measures imposed on Syria.

Chairman of the Council, Abdul Hameed Dashti , during an interposition to the so-called “the interactive dialogue with the Inquiry commission on Syria”, within the agenda of the 46th session of the Human Rights Council ,stressed the necessity for putting an end to the tragic situation of the Syrian people who are suffering from the scourge of the 11-year war while they face unjust blockade , unilateral economic measures and the so-called “Caesar Act” that target the steadfast of the Syrian people on their land.

Dashti called on the Human Rights’ Council to exert serious pressure on the influential countries and take immediate measures to support the settlement process and find a political solution led by Syria.
