Army continues tightening noose around terrorists across the country, inflicting heavy losses upon them

Provinces, SANA- Units of the army and the armed forces on Sunday continued to tighten the noose around terrorists through launching wide-scale military operations against them across the country, inflicting heavy losses upon them.

Daraa

Units of the army and armed forces killed a number of terrorists, including snipers, in Katakit building, in the area surrounding Bilal al-Habashi mosque and in al-Naziheen Camp in Daraa al-Balad in the city of Daraa, southern Syria.

Army units also killed a number of terrorists and injured others in Atman town, Busra al-Sham, al-Sheikh Miskeen and the surrounding of Beit al-Jamal in the countryside of Daraa. Other units destroyed machine guns to the west of Atman and a workshop which the terrorists were using for making explosive devices in al-Majbal in al-Mseifra town.

The army also targeted and killed scores of terrorists in the areas of Da’el, Busra al-Harir and Inkhel in Daraa countryside and in Khazzan al-Su’aila and al-Jumruk al-Qadim in Daraa al-Balad.

Aleppo

Army and armed forces units targeted terrorists’ gatherings in Handarat Camp, Ain Jara, al-Halk, al-Borqoum, Qbesin, al-Bab and south of Keshesh airport in the province, killing many of them and injuring others, in addition to destroying their vehicles and weapons.

Deir Ezzor

A military source told SANA that the army targeted ISIS hideouts in the areas of al-Jbeila, al-Hweiqa, al-Orfa, al-Mwazafin, al-Sina’a and al-Rasafa in Deir Ezzor city and destroyed an armored vehicle in Hweijat Sakr in Deir Ezzor countryside. Scores of terrorists were killed or injured in the process.

The army and the armed forces established full control over the Agriculture College in Deir Ezzor city and continued to pursue terrorists in the areas of al-Mare’yeh, al-Jafra and Mohassan, killing and injuring dozens of them and destroying 12 of their vehicles.

Damascus Countryside

The army continued operations in many areas in Damascus Countryside, killing scores of terrorists, many of them of non-Syrian nationalities, and destroying their hideouts and gatherings.

SANA reporter said the army intensified the shelling on terrorists in Jobar neighborhood and seized control over a number of blocks there, adding that the army also targeted terrorists in Zamalka, Douma, Housh al-Dawahira, Tal Kurdi and Alya farms, dozens of terrorists, including of Palestinian and Jordanian nationalities, were killed in the process.

Meanwhile, the army targeted and destroyed terrorists’ gatherings and hideouts in Jisrin and Kifr Batana in the eastern al-Ghouta, and in Sasa’ area, a num of terrorists were killed and their weapons were destroyed.

Homs

Army units directed intensive strikes against terrorists of Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) in Rahoum village near the border with the northeastern province of Raqqa, killing many of them and injuring others, a military source said.

SANA reporter quoted the source as saying that army units foiled an attempt by terrorists to attack the residents of Maksar al-Husan village from the direction of Um Sahreej and Onq al-Hawa villages in the eastern countryside of Homs.

The source added that many terrorists were killed in a military operation which army units carried out against terrorists’ hideouts in the village of Housh Hajjo in Talbisa area.

Idleb

Units of the army and the armed forces killed and injured scores of terrorists in Mar’ian, Ihsem, around al-Arba’een mountain, M’artamsarin, Hmeimat al-Daer, al-Debshiyeh, Abu al-Duhour and Sarmin in the countryside of the northern province .

The army also clashed with terrorists who tried to attack a military post near Ariha and targeted terrorists in the areas of Binnesh, al-Dabshyeh, al-Bwaiti, Umm Jarin, Baya’at al-Sakhana, Qar’ al-Ghazal, al-Shweiha, al-Majas, Warida and Maarat al-Numan in Idleb countryside.
