Damascus, SANA- Health Ministry announced on Wednesday that 61 new coronavirus cases were registered in Syria , and 79 patients infected with the virus have recovered while 4 others have passed away.
In a statement to SANA, the Ministry indicated that the total number of Coronavirus cases in the country climbed to 15343, out of which 9468 cases recovered and 1008 passed away.
The first Coronavirus case recorded in Syria was reported on March 22nd last year while the first mortality was registered on the 29th of the same month.
