Damascus, SANA- Damascus University and Regional Planning Agency signed on Thursday memo of understanding to develop and support cooperation in the fields of national and regional planning, scientific research, rehabilitation and training.
The memorandum stipulates holding joint seminars, workshops and programs of visits for professors, researchers and students to inspect and studies carried out by the two teams.
According to the agreement, the university allows the employees of the Regional Planning Agency to apply for qualifying postgraduate degrees. The university also helps provide expertise, consultations and studies for the proposed projects undertaken by the agency through professional work at the university.
The Agency is affiliated to the Ministry of Public works and Housing.
