Damascus, SANA –Temperatures will continue to rise gradually to become from 3 to 5 degrees above average as the country is affected by a high air pressure in all layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Tuesday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general, while the weather will be cold at night over mountains, warning against fog in the Ghouta, and the central and Qalamoun regions.
The wind will be easterly to southeasterly with a low to moderate speed and it will become active in the western regions and over the coastal mountains, while the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follow: Damascus 16/8, Daraa 17/7, Homs 13/5, Aleppo 13/5, Lattakia 20/13 and Raqqa 16/7.
