Syria, Iraq affirm necessity of intensifying international efforts to confront terrorism

Baghdad, SANA- Iraqi Foreign Minister, Fuad Hussein, and the Syrian Ambassador in Baghdad, Sattam Jada’an al-Dandah, stressed the need for intensifying international efforts to confront terrorism that poses threat to the entire world.

A statement by the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that Minister Hussein and Ambassador al-Dandah discussed, during a meeting on Thursday, means of developing bilateral relations between the two countries in a way that serves the interests of the two brotherly peoples.

The two sides also discussed the overall regional and international situation and efforts to fight and pursue the remnants of Daesh terrorist gangs.
