Kazakh Foreign Ministry won’t rule out the possibility of holding a new meeting on Syria this year

Nur Sultan, SANA-The Kazakh Foreign Ministry announced on Tuesday that it won’t rule out the possibility of holding a new meeting about Syria this year.

Sputnik quoted the representative of the press office of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry as saying  that” we do not rule out such a possibility, but holding the next round of talks on Syria in any form will depend on the Will of the guarantor states themselves and most importantly on the epidemiological situation in the country.”

Presidents of the guarantor states of the Astana process (Russia, Iran and Turkey) reaffirmed in a joint statement through a video conference meeting last July ,  their commitment to the sovereignty, independence, unity and territorial integrity of Syria.
