Syrian-Russian plenary session of talks in Moscow on encouraging, increasing volume of trade exchange

Moscow, SANA- A plenary session of talks was held on Wednesday at the Russian Cabinet building co-chaired by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Yury Borisov on the Russian side and Minister of Presidential Affairs Mansour Azzam on the Syrian side.

During the meeting, the two delegations stressed their high evaluation of these talks and their outcomes, including the decisions and recommendations which dealt with the practical and executive steps that aim at completing the bilateral cooperation projects in all domains.

For his part, Borisov renewed that his country stance concentrated on that these talks come in the framework of launching work in the projects of cooperation between the two countries in the trade, agricultural and industrial sectors, as well as the energy, transport and water fields and means of enhancing the requirements of the Syrian markets of the basic materials for local conception in light of the difficulties that the Syrian citizen is facing due to the blockade and unjust economic sanctions imposed on Syria.

During the meeting, which crowned the talks held by the Syrian governmental delegation in Moscow, the importance of raising the volume of trade exchange and encouraging investment between the Syrian and Russian sides were also emphasized.
