Heath and Economic sectors in Aleppo discussed

Aleppo, SANA- Reality of work in the economic and health sectors in Aleppo northern province, obstacles facing these sectors and means of overcoming them were the main topic of discussion during a meeting of Minister of Economy and Trade Humam al-Jazaeri and Minister of Health Nizar Yazaji with representatives of industrial, trade and health institution in Aleppo on Sunday.

The necessity of monitoring products which enter Syria, providing medicines for cancer patients in Aleppo, supporting emergency system, providing requirements of industrial production, decreasing freight transport fees, canceling taxes on consumer spending and granting micro loans were also on the table.

Minister al-Jazaeri said that the Syrian economy has started to recover as the production wheel has been pushed forwards in the domains of textile, food and manufacturing industries.

Al-Jazaeri indicated that the government is working to increase its foreign currency earnings based on the exports and consolidating its self-ability to obtain petroleum.

For his part, Minister of Health said that 10-ton shipment of medicines has sent to Aleppo and it is scheduled to reach the province today, indicating that the government works to enhance health sector and solve all problems facing it.

Yazaji added that his Ministry has set a new mechanism to supervise production of the medicines produced by private factories.

Aleppo Governor Mohammad Marwan Ulabi stressed the importance of Aleppo in the industrial and economic domains, calling for providing facilitations to the industrialists due to the severe damage in their facilities caused by acts of the armed terrorist organizations.
