Damascus, SANA- Temperatures tend to drop to become under average from 1 to 3 degrees as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure coming from the southeast and accompanied by southwesterly air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Friday bulletin that the weather will be partly cloudy in general, with an opportunity of rainfall over the coastal areas, while it tends to be cold at night especially in the mountainous heights.
The winds will be westerly to northwesterly moderate, with active gusts reaching a speed of 60 km per hour, causing dust in the interior regions, while the sea waves will be light to moderate in height.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 35/18, Daraa 32/17, Homs 30/20, Aleppo 35/19, Lattakia 28/22 and Deir Ezzor 39/24.
