Damascus, SANA-The exhibition of “Gouri and jasmine” at the Cultural Center in Abu Rummana, organized by “Step” group, is an important opportunity to present its visions and its innate and academic artistic capabilities to the public through the exhibition paintings on the Damascene aesthetic vocabularies.
The exhibition, in which 21 amateurs and 7 professional artists participated, included more than 40 paintings between oil painting, acrylics and photographs, containing themes about Damascus and its aesthetic details, with various volumes and artistic visions.
Regarding the exhibition, artist Osama Diab, the supervisor of the group and the participant of a painting as a guest of honor, said in a statement to SANA that this is the fourth exhibition of the Step Group, which includes a number of plastic artists who innately practice art alongside a number of academic graduates.
He added that through those group exhibitions, “we try to consecrate the innate sense while promoting the idea of professionalism for academic study.”
