Olive production estimated to reach 74 thousand tons in Hama

Hama, SANA-Hama Agriculture Directorate has estimated the production of olive crop for the current season to reach about 74 thousand tons in the province.

Speaking to SANA, Head of Agricultural Production Department Eng. Bassam al-Nashar said that the total number of olive trees in the province arrives to 12 million and 800 thousand trees, of which 10 million and 351 thousand trees are fruitful and distributed in irrigated and rainfed lands.
