Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will gradually rise to become from 2 to 4 degrees above average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure coming from the southeast and accompanied by northwesterly air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general, while it will be misty and hot in the eastern, al-Jazira and al-Badia areas.
The wind will be westerly to northwesterly with a low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 37/22, Daraa 33/22, Homs 33/22, Lattakia 31/25, Aleppo 37/24 and Deir Ezzor 43/29.
