Temperature above average, rain showers expected on various areas

Damascus, SANA – Temperature will drop on western parts of the country, yet it will remain from 3 to 5 degrees above average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure coming from the southeast accompanied by a subtropical high pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology Department expected in its Tuesday bulletin that the weather will be misty and very hot in eastern, al-Jazira, and al-Bada regions, the skies will partly cloudy to cloudy sometimes, scattered rain showers accompanied with thunders are expected on various areas.

The wind will be changeable to southwestern of low speed and the sea waves will be low in height.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 41/24, Daraa39/24, Homs 40/23, Lattakia29/27, Aleppo 43/22 and Hasaka 48/29.
