Syria receives new batch of Chinese medical aid for tackling coronavirus

Damascus, SANA- In framework of the distinguished relations between Syria and China, the Health Ministry on Wednesday received a new batch of medical aid provided by the People’s Republic of China to support the health sector in addressing the coronavirus pandemic (covid-19).

The provided aid includes a number of sets of test kits to detect the coronavirus infections, personal protective equipment (PPE), “N95” masks, and temperature measuring devices.

The first batch of Chinese medical aid for tackling the coronavirus arrived in Syria on April 15^th and they included test kits for diagnosing the coronavirus infections.

Syria and China have also exchanged medical experiences on issues related to means and way of tackling the novel coronavirus outbreak between doctors at hospitals in the tow friendly countries via the internet.
