Damascus, SANA – The Health Ministry announced on Tuesday that 12 new Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases have been registered among the 123 students who came from Lebanon to apply for their exams.

The Ministry clarified in a statement that the students who came from Lebanon were tested and quarantined upon their arrival, and they apply for the exams while being quarantined.

Earlier in the day, the Ministry said that three Coronavirus patients have recovered.

This brings the total number of Coronavirus cases registered in Syria to 231, of which 86 have recovered, and 7 have passed away.
