Lattakia, SANA-A light earthquake was registered at 2,8 on the Richter Scale on Wednesday afternoon at the Syrian coast at a depth of 30 km to the north of Lattakia city.
The National Center for earthquakes said in a statement that the earthquake occurred at 15.24 local time, at a depth of 9km and a distance of 30 km north of Lattakia.
On June 5th, two light earthquakes were registered at 3,1 and 2,6 on Richter scale at depth of 99 km away from Beirut.
