Damascus SANA-Setting a time to reassume the qualifiers of the World Cup and Asia Football finals gives a good chance for preparation, particularly for the Syrian National Football Team that comes first in group A.
Resuming the remaining matches for the Syrian National Team will be during next October and November, which gives the technical director, Nabil Ma’alol, a good period for preparation.
Ma’alol said that he has enough time to prepare the National Syrian Team for the next official participation regarding holding the training camps and the friendly matches.
The Syrian national team is at the top of the Group A with 15 points, distancing the Chinese team which comes second with 7 points ,Philippines team comes third with 7 points , Maldives National team with 6 points and Guam National Team comes in the bottom without points.
The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) set time for the 7th and 8th round on October 8th &13th respectively while the two matches of the 9th and 10th rounds will be held on 12th and 17th of November.
The Syrian National Team has harvested 5 wins in the double qualifies for finals of the World Cup 2022 and Asian Cup 2023, as it beat the national teams of Philippines twice 2-5 and 1-0 , Maldives 2-1,Guam :4-0 and China 2-1.
