Hasaka, SANA_ Large areas of wheat and barley fields in Hasaka countryside were burned down by a fire broke out near a Turkish occupation point in the countryside of Ras Al-Ayn.
Local sources told SANA correspondent that a fire was erupted on Tuesday near a point for the Turkish occupation south of Ras Al-Ayn, which later caused several fires to break out in large areas of wheat and barley fields in the villages of al-Manajir, al-Ahras, al-Amariya, Tal Atash, and Arat Abu Bakr affiliated to Ras al-Ayn in the northwestern countryside of Hasaka.
The sources added that the Turkish occupation forces intentionally set fire as part of its terrorist practices to pressure the people and push them to leave their areas by sabotaging their property and agricultural crops.
On May 16, tens of dunums planted with wheat and barley in Hasaka countryside were burned down in fire caused by the Turkish-backed terrorists during their infighting.
