Capitals, SANA – Syrian students abroad on Sunday launched solidarity activities with the homeland entitled “No matter how long we stay abroad, we will come back”, renewing insistence on continuing their studies and returning back home to take part in the process of reconstruction.
The activities, included a minute of silence in respect of the souls of the martyrs, particularly those who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the homeland’s dignity and sovereignty, were held in Beirut, Cairo, Moscow, Canberra, Havana, New Delhi, Bratislava, Prague, Bucharest, Sofia, Budapest, Nicosia, Kuala Lumpur, London, Iran, France, and Belgium.
The students expressed pride over the Syrian Arab Army’s bravery in confronting terrorist organizations and restoring stability to the country.
They underlined commitment to the homeland until realizing the victory over the conspiracy and those who support it.
Syrian expatriates in some countries participated in the activities, stressing their support to their country and its leadership.
They also expressed pride over the victories achieved the Syrian army against the armed terrorist groups all over the country.
Speeches delivered by Syrian diplomats, expatriates, students in the activities, highlighted the importance of paying special attention to students and their researches and studies to be highly qualified for participating in reconstructing the country which has been exposed to the most brutal kinds of foreign-backed terrorism.
