Damascus, SANA- Students of the National Center of the Distinguished (NCD) remotely participated in Russian Kolmogorov conference for scientific researches which was held by Moscow Distinguished Center for Secondary Schools students along 4 days.
In a statement to SANA, director of the NCD Dr. Muthanna Qubili said that “5 students of 3rd secondary grade in the center participated remotely in the conference through scientific researches in physics, chemistry, informatics and mathematical modeling, which were decided and accepted by the scientific committee supervising the conference.
He clarified that the researches dealt with topics such as mechanical and sports mechanisms for robot work, using artificial intelligence in processing image and the role of drone systems in pursuing targets in addition to a study on the expectations of Coronavirus infection in Lattakia governorate”.
The director highlighted “the importance of such participation for students to exchange early experiences and acquire skills in writing scientific researches and essays and mastering terminology related to that in addition to the ability to use simulation and scientific mathematical modeling in English, which require a multiplier of students’ effort, research skills and techniques in different fields.
