36 industrial and artisanal facilities enter production phase in Daraa
Daraa, SANA _ Some 36 artisanal and industrial facilities with an engineering, food and chemical nature have entered the labor market in Daraa province with a capital of about SYP1.5 billion.
These facilities provided 109 job opportunities compared to 99 ones provided by 27 facilities in the same period last year with a capital of SYP 768 million.
Director of Daraa Industry Directorate Abdul Waheed Al-Awad, told SANA that the Directorate is following up the situation of these facilities regarding providing the work requirements, continuity of production and taking precautionary measures to confront Coronavirus.
He pointed out that the Directorate facilitates the transportation of workers, raw materials and products in addition to securing diesel and fuel production supplies.
Last year, 137 industrial and craft facilities began the work in Daraa with a capital of SYP 5.760 billion Syrian pounds.
