Cairo calls for combating terrorism in Syria

Cairo, SANA-Egyptian Foreign Minister, Samih Shukri, underlined the need for combating terrorism and extremist organizations in Syria.

Spokesman of the Egyptian Foreign Ministry, adviser Ahmad Hafez, said that Shukri stressed, during a meeting with UN special envoy for Syria, Geir Pedersen, the need for confronting the danger of the foreign terrorists’ infiltration from the regions where they are positioned.

Shukri reiterated that Egypt still supports the efforts of solving the crisis in Syria according to UNSC resolution No.2254 and restoring peace and security to the country.
