Moscow, SANA – Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the participation of the Russian forces in combating terrorism in Syria contributed in stopping real threats to the Russian security.
Putin said in speech during a ceremony in Moscow on Sunday in celebration of the Homeland Defenders Day that the participation of Russian forces in fighting terrorism in Syria has resulted in eliminating terrorist organizations that had possessed high-quality armaments and equipment, and this prevented the emergence of serious threats to Russia.
