Damascus, SANA-Temperatures will rise slightly, yet they will remain from 4 to 7 degrees below average as the country is still affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Tuesday bulletin that the skies will be partially cloudy in general and rains will fall over different areas across the country, while snow will fall over the areas whose height exceeds 800 meters and the rainfalls will be mixed with snow in the areas whose height is less than that.
The wind will be southerly to southwesterly with a low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be medium in height.
Different amounts of rainfalls have been registered in several Syrian provinces as follows: Damascus and its countryside 2mm, Homs 5 mm and Tartous 5mm.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 7/-2, Daraa 7/0, Homs 5/-1, Lattakia 12/6, Aleppo 2/-5 and Deir Ezzor 5/-3.
