Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will drop to become below average in most areas as the country is affected by a low air pressure in all layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Friday bulletin that the weather will be changeable and partly cloudy; heavy rain showers accompanied by thunder sometime are expected to fall over coastal, northern and al-Jazeera areas, while snow will fall over high mountains.
The wind will be southwesterly to westerly with active gusts whose speed will exceed 85 km per hour while the sea waves will be high in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 10-4, Daraa 11-4, Homs 11-4, Lattakia 16-10, Aleppo 9-3 and Deir Ezzor 13-3.
