Heavy rainfalls expected in most areas

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will remain around average as the country is affected by a low air pressure in all layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the weather will be cloudy and rainy in the coastal areas and in the afternoon and the evening, heavy rains accompanied by thunder sometime are expected to fall over most areas.

The wind will be southwesterly with active gusts whose speed will exceed 80 km per hour sometimes in the evening and at night in the coastal areas while the sea waves will be medium to high in amplitude.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 14-6, Daraa 13-6, Homs 12-6, Lattakia 17-12, Aleppo 11-5 and Deir Ezzor 14-5.
