Weather partly cloudy, heavy rainfalls expected over coastal areas

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will remain around average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by relatively cold and wet southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the skies will be partly cloudy and rainfalls will fall over the northern, coastal and central regions, and they will be heavy sometimes in the coastal areas and at night the rain will reach some of the inland areas.

The weather will be cold at night and frost is expected over the mountains, will fog is expected in some of the inland areas.

The wind will be southwesterly with a low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low to medium in height.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 13/5, Daraa 14/5, Homs 12/6, Lattakia 16/12, Aleppo 11/4 and Deir Ezzor 13/5.
