Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will remain from 3 to 6 degrees above average as the country is affected by a high air pressure in all layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the skies will be clear in general with some scattered clouds while the weather will be cold at night, warning against frost at the mountains and fog in most inland areas in the early morning.
The wind will be of changeable direction to northwesterly with a low speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 18/5, Daraa 16/2, Homs 19/4, Hasaka 21/5, Tartous 22/12, Aleppo 18/5 and Deir Ezzor 22/6.
